Who we are
Mermaids Make Waves was founded by CEO Paige Moyles in 2021. Paige is based in Toronto, Ontario where she first started her mermaid journey and wanted to continue to share her passion and teachings with others. With her years of experience as a mermaid, lifesaver and aquatic leader, she wants to educate others, spread mermaid magic and share in this unique experience with many.
Making Waves in the Community
Mermaids Make Waves believes in the power of community and strives to give back to our local communities. We are actively trying to work with our community, support local small businesses and educate on swimming safety and conservation. We also have a growing community of mermaids in the Ontario area, who empower one another and help each other grow in a passion we all have in common. A PADI certified Mermaid Instructor with a freediving background, Mermaid Jacy has been mermaiding since 2017 and has used mermaiding to teach others about self-care, healing, and strength. Mermaid Jacy is an early childhood educator and children’s author, she has over 25 years experience in the entertainment world through stage plays, musicals and operas.
